Ta-Kang Yeh worked as an associate engineer at the Industrial Technology Research Institute in Taiwan after he received the master degree. Having received his doctorate in geomatics from the National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (Taiwan) in 2005, he has been an assistant professor at the Chien Hsin University of Science and Technology. After six years, he took a position as an associate professor at the National Taipei University in 2011 and has been a professor in 2015. He served as the director of the Center for General Education from 2017 to 2021 and Center for Land Environment Planning from 2021 to 2024. He has been a distinguished professor and Vice President for General Affairs since 2022. He is also a member of International GNSS Service (IGS), International Association of Geodesy (IAG) and American Geophysical Union (AGU). He attended the International Symposiums on Land Subsidence held in 2010 and 2015. He is the author and co-author of more than 80 publications in international journals.
