Short Bio
Dr. Ma Qingshan has long been engaged in research on the interaction between human activities and geological environment, as well as disaster control. He focuses on key scientific issues such as the mechanisms of groundwater circulation evolution under the influence of high-intensity human activities, and the characteristics and mechanisms of land subsidence under multi-factor coupling. He conducted long-term observational studies of groundwater and land subsidence in the coastal cities of the Yangtze River Delta, providing demonstration models for groundwater over-extraction management and land subsidence prevention.
Key Contributions
- [Risk Assessment and Zoning of Land Subsidence]
Summarized the current situation of land subsidence in the Yangtze River Delta, analyzed its influencing factors, conducted risk assessment and zoning for land subsidence, and proposed prevention and control measures. - [Groundwater and land Subsidence Monitoring]
Developed a land subsidence monitoring technology method that monitors multiple parameters such as stress, displacement, water temperature, and pore water pressure in a loose layer full cross-section soil, providing data support for the study of subsidence mechanisms. - [Mechanisms and Modeling of Land Subsidence]
Established a 3D fluid-solid fully coupled finite element computer model to analyze land subsidence induced by building loads and groundwater extraction. This model predicts the influence of building loads and groundwater extraction on land subsidence and ground fissures separately, as well as their combined additive effects.
